Pecos & Me between Zion and Capital Reef

Pecos Bill follows in this series with Nonhelema joining in the Grand Canyon (Book 2) and she is the perfect fit for our National Park Jr Ranger series.  She comes into the Grand Canyon during book two in the last Chapter as our newest hero, protecting Lucy from the influence of Calamity Jane and introduces them to Kokopelli. 

Fun and Games at the end of each book.

Fun and Games are found in the back of each of my books.  I came up with this idea for two reasons.  The first reason was due to the sadness and boredom the kids would feel after leaving Yosemite or any other National Park.  The lack of quality middle age books at the gift shops are few to none.  Also, when I was younger the gas stations and gift shops all had these fun little game books you could buy that came with invisible marker ink to highlight the correct answer.


The second reason I placed Games and fun facts at the end of each book was to aid with book reports or remembering key facts about the National Park or book.  It also makes the book more personal.
